When I was a jr SWE at just 18, I used to code 14+h a day. Now, I only write code when Codex and Claude Code can’t solve my problems, yet I still average about 3h a day. Crazy to think that my most productive SWE moment is the time I code the least (thx to Tela and @henrycunh )
