Would there be any appetite to scale up the booth at Token2049 and host an embedded MiniSummit with Token? We could do a hackathon with a large ada prize and have a stage for Cardano ventures to present. Subsidize some of the larger projects to attend?

Governance requires not only participation, but also a commitment to accept collective decisions. The Cardano community has spoken and we respect the outcome. Following the outcome of the Treasury proposal votes, the Cardano Foundation's proposed Cardano Summit 2026, will not take place this year. Despite this, we were heartened to see how close the vote came to being passed and how engaged the community was, and have read every bit of feedback left by the DReps who voted. We were also pleased to see that Emurgo’s TOKEN2049 proposal passed. Now, we will review all current commitments and commence winding down Summit execution. The Foundation remains focused on the current roadmap and vision. We thank the DReps for their engagement throughout this process. Their thorough evaluation, feedback, and participation exemplify the thoughtful engagement that effective governance requires, and this level of governance remains one of the defining strengths of this ecosystem. We deeply appreciate everyone who contributed to the discussion, and we look forward to continuing our work in service of the Cardano community.

@Quantumplation Out of curiosity, what cool things are we launching in 2026 that other chains can't do just as well or better?
Full transparency, I voted NO on both these proposals because I envision outside investors/partners looking at Cardano and asking that exact same question.

I just voted YES on both the Cardano Summit and Token 2049 proposals.
The Token2049 proposal was an easy yes, as it is consistent with getting Cardano in front of eyeballs it hasn't been in front of before.
The Summit was a harder yes. Ultimately, the decider for me was that the @Cardano_CF was receptive to feedback and revised their proposal, and that the cost of the summit is trending down year over year.
Cardano is at a key inflection point. We're launching so many cool new things (at both the application and capability layer) in 2026, and if we don't spend boldly to highlight those things, and highlight them with people *outside* of the Cardano community, it will mean very little.
To both of the proposers of the above proposals, *please* make sure that these events are constantly beating the drum about ecosystem stars, strengths, and new capabilities, and don't turn into luke-warm repetitions of past refrains that everyone has already heard before.

I changed my vote to Yes because I think this is a cause for not just marketing in Singapore with the others, but establish Cardano as a central focus with a Unity between parties we haven't seen in years. It's time go just grow together.

@ItsDave_ADA We have quite a large presence in Asia. There was also a recent proposal fom a company is Vietnam. I think presence there would do us good. I get the treasury spend ordeal, however we should be pushing for more presence in these territories, especially during a bear market.

⚠️SUI DROPS -5% AS MAINNET SUFFERS NETWORK OUTAGE
The Sui team has confirmed a network-wide stall, with developers currently working on a solution.
The network has been down for over two hours, temporarily halting all transactions on the mainnet.

After seeing what happened to Sui today, Cardano stands out to me more than ever.
I do wonder often if it gets the hate it does because it is so ahead of its time, people feel scared, threatened and intimidated by it.
Reading all of the comments supporting Sui coming back online is actually mad.
If this happened to Cardano, people would be calling for @IOHK_Charles head!
I like Sui and they are achieving great things for the chain, but people are so focused on price action and movement instead of fundamentals, which I can understand.
Charles said long ago, slow and steady wins the race. That’s why I’m here, building with Cardano and I truly think we are ahead of the competition, people just don’t want to admit it.
