Everyone is talking about Agent-To-Agent Payments. I think we're one of the only ones actually executing them daily on an Enterprise scale. Screenshot below shows Hannah (our AI Research Coworker) hiring 5 different agents from 5 different companies, paying them with Stablecoins on Masumi and then using their outputs to create a consolidated report.

Standing next to history. Learning from trailblazers. In 2024 I had the incredible privilege of visiting the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center to speak with space engineers about blockchain and how decentralized infrastructure could support future space missions. But what stayed with me most from that visit wasn’t the technology. It was the people. Standing beneath the Space Shuttle Discovery, I had the chance to meet two remarkable pioneers of space exploration: • Eileen Collins — the first woman to pilot and later command a Space Shuttle, and commander of Discovery’s historic “Return to Flight” mission. • Pamela Melroy — one of the few women to command a Shuttle and today a leader shaping the future of space exploration. Listening to their stories while standing next to Discovery was a powerful reminder that history doesn’t move forward on its own. It moves forward because people are willing to go first. On International Women's Day, I’m reminded how many of those “firsts” have been carried by women who opened doors in science, engineering, and exploration. Space exploration. Technology. Blockchain. Every frontier advances because someone dares to step into the unknown. And the next generation is already watching.

The hard parts of building a Cardano node isn't really the development of its many parts. It's the conformance. Making sure that you build the right node. The one that will match the behaviour of the existing Haskell node. The one that will not put the network at risk.

Cardano just got programmable tokens at scale. With CIP-0113, token issuers now have a standard to enforce compliance logic directly to native Cardano assets. The framework is modular, open source, and live on the Preview testnet. Learn more: cardanofoundation.org/blog/programma…

This was a tough one, and still some way to go. But adding it with the Pentad work and the other integrations I see a lot of business opportunities for our community and opportunities for attracting liquidity through the Archax integration
Cardano Foundation@Cardano_CF

Cardano is now integrated into @ArchaxEx’s tokenization engine, a next milestone for Cardano's institutional infrastructure. This means: ∙ All Cardano based MembersCap’s Fund I tokens (MCM tokens) now sit within Archax's regulated infrastructure ∙ Straightforward tokenization of RWAs through Archax on Cardano is now a reality ∙ Any future tokens issued through Archax on Cardano start from day one inside that same regulated framework This is the work that bridges Cardano and the world.

Really good post and thank you Yoda for bringing this up again.

Thanks to Wanchain Bridge, Cardano had access to USDC and USDT even before the recent native minting of USDCx. Let me explain the basic principles behind the Wanchain Bridge. In general, blockchain bridges connect networks that do not natively interoperate. For example, a bridge can connect Cardano and Bitcoin, allowing a wrapped version of BTC to exist on Cardano. A bridge must preserve asset value and prevent the same value from being spent simultaneously on multiple networks. When an asset is transferred from one blockchain to another, its spendable value should only exist in one place at any given time. Each asset originates from a specific blockchain, called the original network. The bridge securely transfers the asset's value to another blockchain, known as the destination network, while ensuring the asset can later return to its original network. Wanchain Bridge uses two main mechanisms to facilitate cross-chain transfers. Lock–Mint / Burn–Unlock mechanism This mechanism is used when transferring an asset to a blockchain where that asset does not exist natively. Native coins such as BTC, ETH, or ADA cannot simply be created on another blockchain by a bridge. Instead, the bridge must lock the original asset on its native chain and mint a wrapped representation on the destination chain. The process involves two pairs of operations: ▪️Lock–Mint ▪️Burn–Unlock Imagine the following scenario: Alice sends USDC from Ethereum to Cardano. First, the USDC tokens are locked in a bridge smart contract on Ethereum. Once Wanchain verifies the lock event (after waiting for several block confirmations), the bridge mints an equivalent amount of wrapped USDC on Cardano. Bob then receives the wrapped tokens. The original USDC tokens remain locked on Ethereum until someone sends the wrapped USDC back to Cardano. When that happens, the bridge performs the reverse process. The wrapped USDC tokens are first burned on Cardano. After the burn event is verified, the bridge unlocks the original native USDC tokens on Ethereum. This ensures that the asset value exists in only one spendable form at a time. Native-to-Native Lock–Unlock mechanism In some cases, the same token already exists natively on multiple blockchains. In such cases, no tokens need to be minted or burned. Instead, Wanchain maintains reserves of native tokens on each connected network. For example, Alice may send USDC from Cardano to Bob on Ethereum. The bridge locks USDC on Cardano and verifies the lock event. It then unlocks the equivalent amount of USDC from its reserves on Ethereum and sends it to Bob. Because both sides use native tokens, the bridge only needs sufficient reserves to fulfill the transfer. Wanchain currently connects Cardano with multiple blockchain networks. According to @wanchain_org statistics, the bridge has processed over $130 million in cross-chain transfer volume.

Hi Robin, the toolkit is actually available here dfx.swiss Open CryptoPay is an open license-free P2P payment standard for all blockchains and crypto assets and is also Bitcoin Lightning LNURL backward compatible. Then you need someone in Germany who is willing to play like Kaufland or similar. It is actually a cheaper rail than most other cards so it would fit well in Germany.

The question is not whether your AI agents are capable. It is whether, when one of them makes a consequential mistake, and eventually, one will, you can answer definitively: who authorized this, what were the constraints, and where does responsibility sit. Many enterprise leaders understand the AI opportunity, but how many have asked who is accountable when their AI acts on their behalf? As supply chain partners, counterparties, and customers gravitate toward organizations that can prove accountability end to end, the answer to that question will determine who gets to do business, and who gets left on the outside. The infrastructure gap is real. The tools to close it exist. The only variable is whether your organization builds this before or after an incident forces the issue. cardanofoundation.org/case-studies
