@PrairieVeteran I really dislike Kat. She is a clickbait machine - but obviously her sharing her loss, especially such a delicate one, is not supposed to be mocked

Kat is one of the first people I followed when I joined Twitter. ANYONE who can say vile things about someone else having a miscarriage, no matter your party affiliation, is a PIECE OF SHIT in my books. I've seen women on the Left have this happen and I've had the civility to at least put political differences aside and offer condolences. if you can't, what does that say about and who YOU are as a person?
Kat Kanada 🏴@KatKanada_TM

To all the people commenting ugly and vile things to me in response to my post about the loss of my baby via miscarriage: May God have mercy on your soul. I am not holding it against you. All of us will give an account for EVERY careless word we utter on this earth.

🇨🇦🇺🇸 Canada is blocking Western access to the exact resources the West desperately needs right now... While Europe scrambles for energy alternatives and the U.S. runs low on missile interceptors, Canada is sitting on a sanctions list nobody else kept. Every major Western ally, the U.S., Europe, Australia, dropped or eased their post-2022 Russian sanctions as the strategic landscape shifted. Canada never touched theirs. The result: banks can't issue letters of credit, supply chains stay frozen, and former Soviet states in Central Asia that are now critical suppliers of rare earths, ammunition components, and energy are locked out specifically because of Canadian holdouts. Meanwhile Mark Carney is telling Canadians they can no longer rely on America, while 550 of his 673 declared assets are American-owned. The irony would be funny if the stakes weren't so high. Canada's Ukraine-first sanctions made sense in 2022. In 2026, with the Strait of Hormuz blockaded, China restricting rare earth exports, and Gulf states shopping for ammunition in Seoul and London, that same policy is actively working against the alliance it was designed to protect.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇷🇴 Sanctioned one minute, back in business the next... Romania petitioned Washington in March for permission to restart Lukoil's shuttered Petrotel refinery without triggering sanctions. Treasury said yes. The plant could be back online within 45 days, covering a major share of Romania's energy needs. The condition: no Russian crude. But the infrastructure, the brand, and the profits still belong to Moscow. The same week, the Trump administration extended waivers for roughly 2,000 Lukoil gas stations operating across Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas. Six months ago these same companies were sanctioned to cut off Russian war revenues. Now they're getting carve-outs and exemptions while Europe scrambles for fuel amid the Hormuz crisis. Call it pragmatism. Call it an energy emergency. Either way, Washington's posture toward Moscow is quietly shifting while everyone is watching the Middle East. Source: Reuters

Poilievre is only comfortable criticizing immigration from an economic standpoint. He must accept that immigration is a CULTURAL issue.

On va faire notre travail.

Today, the @CityBrampton celebrated Yuvraj Samra, 19-year-old Canadian cricketer from Brampton, who made ICC Men's T20 World Cup history in February 2026 becoming the youngest player to score a century, and the first player from an associate nation to achieve this milestone on cricket’s global stage. This is a milestone moment for Canadian cricket and for everyone who supported his journey. Your dedication, hard work, and passion have made us all proud! 🇨🇦🏏
