Did you know? Around 80% of rare conditions arise due to changes in a person's genomic makeup, which can be inherited or arise for the first time in an individual. 🧬 🎙️Hear from mTOR node @BatemanLab

Great to be collaborating on this! @KingsIoPPN @RDRUKHub
MaxWell Biosystems@mxwbio

We’re delighted to announce a new partnership between Oxford StemTech, @KingsCollegeLon, and MaxWell Biosystems, funded by @Innosuisse. Many patients with #epilepsy struggle with limited treatment options to manage their seizures effectively. To address this, our collaboration is focused on creating a high-throughput #drugtesting platform using physiologically relevant models. King’s will provide access to epilepsy patients. By integrating Oxford StemTech’s ReproPlex #iPSC reprogramming technology with MaxWell Biosystems’ advanced MaxTwo HD-#MEA (High-Density Microelectrode Array) System featuring a 24-well plate format, we can simultaneously analyze multiple patient-specific brain assembloids. This approach will provide a unique platform to understand epilepsy better and test potential new treatments with precision. We are excited to work together on this project and look forward to contributing to advancements in epilepsy research. Please refer to our website for more details 👉mxwbio.com/company/projec… Stay tuned for updates!
