Hillel at @TheNewSchool was found to have taken money from mandatory student fees and used it to support specific units in the IDF known for notorious war crimes. I think doing that should itself be a crime, but the audacity to think there is some natural right you have to take other people’s student fee funds and spend them on war crimes is mind blowing. Reminder, last November, when the IDF murdered two unarmed little kids (8 and 10) for crossing the yellow line - they were retrieving firewood for their disabled dad - the IDF didn't prosecute or discipline the soldiers. It DEFENDED them and justified the murder, because it claimed the kids engaged in unspecified "suspicious activities" and "approached IDF troops," i.e. crossed the yellow line. The tragic part is that the successful Iran policy Trump enacted in his first term—and was enacting this time around—was working, and he was on his way to securing a much better deal than the JCPOA. This was a threat to Israel’s goal of getting the U.S. to provide the combat power for regime change in Iran. Groups like FDD, members of the media, donors, and key Israeli officials played a key role in convincing Trump that his policy should shift to zero enrichment and that the Iranian regime would quickly crumble if he struck now. Hopefully, POTUS will look at the results of the advice he has received from FDD and the Israel-first/neocon lobby and correct course.

The hardest part about documenting and archiving the Gaza genocide isn't the videos of dead babies, though they are beyond horrific to view. The hardest part is watching the children who are half alive and half dead, forced to die a painful and slow death without anesthesia because Israel blocks medical aid.
