@Conal16281690 @rising_alba No they don’t. My grandparents worked hard saved invested and have never claimed welfare. They are paying taxes for wasters who won't work. If we are going to blame all pensioners then let's just scrap welfare entirely for all ages and the state pension.

@BenedictSpence I'd rather my grandparents spend all their hard earned cash on traveling the world and then getting free social care should they need it as people who have lived off the state their whole lives get free care anyway. Where is the incentive to do the right thing?

@BenedictSpence Maybe you need to differentiate between pensioners who did the right thing and those thay didn't. Same applies to those on benefits pumping out kids like rabbits having never worked or never will work a day in their lives.

So many stamp their feet about how more people should pull their weight in this country, and then turn absolutely foul when you suggest that should include them.
