Why does it cost upwards of £1K a week for someone to live in a care home? This is an extortionate amount of money. Why is this never investigated? Considering care workers earn a relatively low wage then there’s a lot of people out there making a lot of money out of people suffering.

My update on the situation in the Middle East.

I’m always reminded of something James Allison said at the start of the Ground Effect era - in that the 2017-2021 era of F1 car altered drivers’ and fans’ perceptions of what an F1 car should be like. Drivers, fans and engineers got accustomed to taking certain corners at ridiculous speeds never seen before - and that always posed a danger of struggling to accept anything less after a certain amount of time. Turn 12 in Bahrain in 2026 is a perfect example. To save energy, teams are taking turn 12 at around 240kph in testing. That is, on a 40 degree track, with a bit of fuel in the car, on a medium tyre, not as a full qualifying simulation. Come Q3, that figure will be 250+ kph which is in line with numbers pre-2017. To add to that, this way of driving also gives them much high top speeds on the main straight than before, so there’s always pros and cons to everything. You can also see it in how the experienced drivers view it vs the less experienced drivers. Drivers such as Antonelli, Hadjar, Bearman have no long term memory of 2017-2025 levels of downforce and grip. So a 2026 F1 car still feels like a massive step up to what they are used to. Experienced drivers last drove cars with these speeds 10 years ago, and they feel like a massive step down.

I always wonder why people go full time steaming when you are only making $8 a hour? 112 hours only making $900. Can you even live off that? So many other jobs you can do full time make more and also stream part time. My recommendation for anyone is to never go full time unless you are making 150% of what your job was paying you. Until then do it part time. 🫡

There will be tidbits of info but I think itll be good to hear from design on thoughts on specific topics. I always am baffled when people expect us to announce every detail on a new game or expansion in an interview. Marketing machines will always push for the biggest platform and most amount of eyeballs to make those things. You wont get that in an interview on 1 Twitch channel.
