@emergencypdx "I've seen every (insert specialty here) in the region, I've had every test possible, I've tried every treatment, nothing's working. Can you diagnose and/or fix me tonight in your emergency room at 2 am?"

@CHeitzMD Thanks Corey. The content for TheSGEM.com is and will always be free. It is the CME credits that come with a fee. This is to offset the $$$ and time required to get accreditation for the SGEM.

@choo_ek Second year med student on AIM. Friend messaged “turn on the TV.” “Which channel?” “Any of them.” Wasn’t sure if it was a small plane or airliner and nearly dropped my coffee on the floor as I watched the second tower get hit, live. #neverforget

19 yrs ago I was in the CCU at Yale-New Haven Hospital. We paused during rounds as a TV in a patient’s room showed a plane colliding into the WTC. I said, “That’s a movie, right? That’s not real.” One of the residents spun and walked away. She lost a family member that day.
