Testing free buses during the World Cup would be a good start, but what about expanding #FairFares to 300% of the FPL and offering fully free transit for families earning under 150% of the FPL? A CSS report found that 1 in 4 New Yorkers has trouble affording public transit.

A #FairFares expansion would save more than two million New Yorkers hundreds of dollars a year on transit costs at a time when too many are struggling to stay afloat, while also reducing commute times in neighborhoods without subway access.
