@ItsBiniR if they are significantly more abundant in the ip samples, I would consider them as potential interactors. If same abundance in both… then just sticky noodles…

A trivial question.. Why is there proteins in the negative control of an AP-MS experiment?? Especially when the AP-MS was done to identify the interacting proteins.. The presence of these proteins, albeit at a lower abundance, in the control discredit them as interactors??

#TeamMassSpec OT-2 and Evosep owners out there. Is an OT2 configuration with a 8-channel P300 and another P20 in the 8-channel seem ok? Does it matter if I’m left or right position? Thanks!

Mass spec throws tantrums when you are away at #ASMS2024.. Guess it's a way of showing rebellion for leaving them behind alone.. The brand new shiny Astral decided it is the right time to drain the N2 cylinder and throw an HCD vacuum error.. 😤😤😤

For the first time in a long time, possibly ever, I let the LC & mass spec run with full sets of samples over the weekend and did not check on it. Yet it somehow has WORKED! I came in to having data! #TeamMassSpec this feels surreal!

The luxury of keeping a vial full of samples in the autosampler and keeping on injecting from it until you work out the kinks of the method via remote login is something Evosep can't offer.. Guess we can't have it all, huh.. 😉 #MassSpecMusings
