This is not merely an inconsistency; it is a deliberate undermining of the very authority Cde Tungwarara is meant to defend🥹 Sir Wicknell Chivayo was unequivocal: he would have gladly extended a Land Cruiser 300 Series and US$300,000 and much more to @matinyarare had Matinyarare shown basic respect to the President and the First Family. Sir @wicknellchivayo refused to "normalise the abnormal." He drew a clear line: loyalty and decency are non-negotiable prerequisites for reward. As Environment Patron, I met with artisanal and small-scale miners in Chegutu, where I engaged them on promoting responsible mining practices that balance economic development with environmental protection. Together with environmental and mining stakeholders, we discussed the rehabilitation of mined-out areas, tree planting, and the importance of safe, sustainable mining practices that safeguard our communities and future generations. I continue to support Government efforts to protect and preserve our environment.

His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa today joined fellow African leaders and development partners in a High-Level Virtual Meeting on the Ebola outbreak affecting the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. Recognising Ebola as a threat to the entire African continent, President Mnangagwa called for collective action, stronger regional cooperation, and sustainable investments in healthcare systems. Zimbabwe has pledged US$1 million to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention to support efforts to combat the epidemic. The President also commended development partners, the international community, the World Health Organization, and the Africa CDC for their continued support in safeguarding public health and strengthening Africa’s resilience against disease outbreaks.
