There were 257 NFL draft picks this year. Here's the breakdown by classification:
P4: 239
G6: 13
FCS: 4
NA: 1
It's yet another example of the talent drain for the G6 and FCS due to the transfer portal.
“Did I say I don’t like Black people? … I’m 41 years old and there’s two cities I don’t like playing in right now. And that’s Milwaukee and that’s Memphis.” - LeBron James when asked about the backlash to his comments on a recent Bob Does Sports appearance
@elonmusk would you like to sponsor my daughters’ middle school softball program in the Memphis area? We are looking for sponsorships to help build an indoor hitting facility.
One simple question: When these conference realignments are almost entirely sports driven, why do academics play a factor at all? It makes no sense. It’s all about bringing in more money through media rights via athletics. So why do academics factor at all into the equation?
I’d argue the ACC should add these schools now (2030 whatever), go back to divisions. Let these programs start building with a runway instead of adding them out of survival.
Is there a list of @MemphisFB players who are not entering the transfer portal from the 2025 team? I figure at this point it might be easier to list the ones staying rather than leaving.
@CoachHuff is help on the way?
NEW: Memphis OL Ethan Newman is entering the NCAA transfer portal, his reps @nilsonsports tells @SWiltfong_ and @PeteNakos

Salty Memphis got what they wanted. Silverfield gone and 95% of the roster with him. Our beautiful program has finally been destroyed. Coach Huff has to replace 100 players
