The overwhelming majority is made domestically (roughly 40%) and the largest importation of petrol and crude comes from Canada. The rest is from South America and Saudi is only about 4%. So no... This has nothing to do with gas prices domestically and you should be mad at the US gasoline companies for taking advantage of the hysteria to hike their prices. They're not raising prices because of higher costs, they're raising prices for higher profits. Wake up dude
