Thoughts on new #CFL playoff format:
Diehard fans the big winners. More football!
Timing and rollout were poor. Why announce on draft day?
The future. New tv deal, expansion, hopefully coming soon. Both will be huge for our league.

For 70% of the league, the CFL will now be an 18 game round robin, where 8 of 9 teams advance past the post season.
Will be the only 🏈 league in the world to allow a loser a do over. It is a slap in the face to fans, no matter how it is spun.

But a team loses and is still in the bracket. That’s not football playoffs. Either way my point is that the format is fun, but the 8/9 playoffs narrative does suck.
