@TEnglishSport The strikers are awful, look at the previous tournaments, goals by midfielders. Yes they need to perform on the but we put far too much on guys like McGinn and McTominay, the front line has to step up, I still think Shankland is a better option than Dykes, Adams, Conway and Hirst

I fully support bringing Dykes to the World Cup just for the vibes he brings, but he just doesn't offer enough on the pitch for Scotland now. If we're going to have to go direct and put hopeful crosses into the box then McBurnie would be a much better option

UPDATE: Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel had a successful first operation on his shoulder.
The Denmark international, 39, has been ruled out for up to a year with multiple injuries to his left arm.
His contract with Celtic expires in the summer.
