2FA means Two Factor Authentication. The safest way to login to anything currently is: To use email aliases with all accounts, each one separate and different. Create unique, memorable passwords with your imagination and only write them down, never store them online or in an app on a device, paper and pen are best. Never trust any browser with your password. Never photograph your paper with passwords on it and never share it with anyone. For apps and websites that insist on 2FA use a PAYG phone but never register or use the number for text messages. Install different 2FA apps on the device and just use them for authentication. Allow backup codes to be generated for everything but take the time to write them down. Do not print them, modern printers have memory and automatically cloud sync for "Product Improvements." It's all cumbersome I know but currently, everyone who is constantly connected, installing all the latest apps, through fear of missing out (FOMO) and just accepting default settings everywhere for convenience, is vulnerable. @FirozCodes I have just switched to Premium+ as I am aiming to use all the extras included. It is very expensive but I justify it because despite all the noise about @X being a bad platform full of bots, everything I need as a @googledevs and @windowsinsider is right here at my fingertips.

We are working through an outage.

Now I have to wait for around 48 hours to see if everything gets restored correctly. Thankfully it's Friday so I'll check back again on Monday. I have applied to get back my original handle which is my real name. I quite like my current profile picture but I have been advised to update it when I can with something more current. It's the same with my background so, expect to see me all refreshed on Monday morning. Why am I doing all this? Breaches involving bots can take ages to clean up and I only just finished making everything safe and secure again. Have a great weekend everyone.

Oh dear 😮 I'm still old school. I don't save passwords anywhere online and I don't have any passkeys. I create new passwords using my imagination. I change them randomly when I feel like it. I write down backup codes on odd bits of paper I have to hand. I have 2FA apps on various different devices that are turned off unless I need them. What's going to happen to me? 🤓
