The right absolutely cannot go back to apologising to and seeking the approval of people whose main goal is, ultimately, to destroy them. This is only proximally about Nick Fuentes. This is really about not allowing people back in to the movement who have been definitively shut out after decades of sabotaging the right from the inside. The inheritors of Buckley have proven their incompetence, inability and their malice. They are self-serving, addicted to defeat and utterly incapable of doing what is necessary in this moment to stave off final defeat from the left. These people should not get to tell the right who they are and what they believe.
