Well it is as you described it! On the one hand postponing rate cuts will agitate the markets but will lighten the fears of a JPY carry trade unwind. On the other hand cutting in 14 days, will please the markets but will increase the fears of a potential unwinding, given the uncertainty of BoJ decision. That is way my advice is to by extra cautious until all these key events pass.

Market update
Both the Jobless Claims and Durable Goods Orders data came in slightly better than expected, leading to an immediate upward reaction in both U.S. futures and the crypto market.
⚠️ Caution: We do not relax risk management yet. The first two hours after Wall Street opens, remain the most volatile and unpredictable part of the session.

After two hours of extreme volatility at the opening of yesterday’s Wall Street session (as we warned in yesterday’s morning post), U.S. indices eventually closed in the green and handed momentum over to Asia. The Asia Dow is currently up +1.7% and US futures on the green. The crypto market, however, has not yet recovered from yesterday’s violent opening move. 📉 Market Outlook 🔹We expect a similar pattern today, as we have key macro releases at 13:00 UTC (Jobless Claims and Durable Goods Orders). 🔹Here’s the likely playbook for today: •Volatility starts ~1 hour before the announcements •Continues into the numbers •Fades 1-2 hours after Wall Street opens 🔹However, unlike yesterday, if today’s prints come in favorable, crypto has a higher probability of an upward move due to yesterday’s underperformance versus equities. 🔹A reminder: Much of the recent weakness in crypto is still the ripple effect of the large liquidation event in early October. 💰 ETF Flows - 25 Nov Strong inflows across all majors: •BTC: +$128.7m •ETH: +$78.6m •SOL: +$53.1m These inflows act as a positive tailwind for today’s session. 📊 Technicals - Daily 🔹BTC The consolidation scenario between $86,600-90,300 (highlighted yesterday) is starting to play out. We expect price to hover around this zone until December’s key catalysts: •Dec 10: FED rate decision •Dec 19: BOJ rate decision •Dec 26: Quadruple options expiration Unless major global or geopolitical shocks occur. 🔹ETH Expect similar consolidation between: •$3,000-3,090 (upper gray zone) •~$2,500 (major high-volume node) Same catalysts as BTC apply. 🧭 Strategy for the Day 🔹Once again, we recommend staying out of the market until at least two hours after the U.S. open. I am old enough to remember when Bitcoin dropped from $65,000 to below $30,000 in 30 days in 2021 - still remembered as one of the most bullish years in crypto history. A 55% drawdown in the middle of the bull market.
It went back up to $69,000.

It was $BTC on the upper chart and $ETH on the lower chart.
Structurally, $ETH is looking much better as it is still holding the range and that recent low, while $BTC has broken down from the range and formed a further structural low.
So, while the upper chart is more likely to provide better results with shorts, the lower one might still favor longs.
Also in terms of invalidations, the lower chart is much cleaner since we are still holding support compared to the upper chart.
Both charts can be interpreted in many different ways, no absolute right or wrong.
The main point of the exercise was to focus on the context, rather than the outcome, which in this case was considerably different.

Ειχα ομως την δυνατοτητα να μπω με κατι δεκαδες δολλαρια (το οποιο προφανως δεν θεωρησα οτι ειχε καποια αξια) και δεν το εκανα.

@MerNion @DegenClubGR Νομίζω θα το έλεγε. Σε φάση συγχαρητήρια σε όσους κατάφεραν και πήραν (εγω προσωπικά δεν τα κατάφερα) ούτως ή άλλως και στο παρελθόν εχει μιλήσει για χαμένες ευκαιρίες. Το ότι δεν καταφέρατε να μπείτε (και ο νιντζα εαν ισχύει) δεν σημαίνει ότι άλλοι δεν κατάφεραν να μπουν.
