An agreement on the EU’s proposal to protect critical infrastructure would be a major step. Holding war criminals accountable must be part of any settlement.
Civilians, not warlords, must shape the path forward. Regional powers must stop fuelling the war with arms.
Wars ripple across borders, which is why the EU will keep Sudan high on the agenda, including at next week’s meeting of EU Foreign Ministers.

@varrock I think this may be the solution to the Fermi Paradox. What if that's the way it is throughout the universe. A society is born becomes advanced to a certain point and then decides to bring in the dregs of their race, thus lowering their collective IQ and stagnating society.

Humanity advanced so much in the last 2000 years because Europeans got smarter and way less violent and built efficient societies.
This created stable, high-trust environments where research, progress, and efficiency were the norm.
Smart capable people exist everywhere, but most cultures just can't build an environment where that talent turns into real progress.
With mass migration, we're losing the only environment on earth that actually pushes humanity forwards. If this keeps going, humanity will stagnate forever.

Reading about what’s happening in Epsom, Surrey right now. An English woman gang raped. English people protest. The police won’t release details of her attackers, which means one thing; they’re not English names. Just like so many others. The police have taken to the streets in riot gear. The violence used by NYPD officers in this video is extremely disturbing and unacceptable. Officers should never treat a person this way. The NYPD is conducting a full investigation into this incident.
