@EliteCollectSI $300 Chourio (Taking a stab here nothing recent) $250 Yordan
English

@OffDaHook35 One of the most underrated players in baseball
English

@TheMlbOutsider I get what you’re saying, but the Yankees trade a large portion of their prospects
English

Bats the #Yankees developed over the past 15 years:
Judge
Rice
That’s it. That’s the list.
English

@nickythegood They basically have to trade him, the next time he would be able to pitch competitive baseball for the Mets he will likely be 34 years old. I’m not saying they shouldn’t demand a return but it’s malpractice to hang onto a guy like him with a lockout all but guaranteed
English

I don’t think the Mets are gonna trade assets under control. The team has to compete next year. You can’t do that with gutting everything
If a team wants Weaver with how he’s performed, the price is your top prospect. Legit #1 in your system.
I think the Mets are gonna unload all of their impending free agents. I don’t think any of the controlled assets (that have performed) are going anywhere
Unbiased Mets Fan@TheMetsX
Outside of Aroldis Chapman, Luke Weaver may be the best available reliever on the entire trade market
English

@AAll1776 @YankeesNerds The owners are paying them from revenue generated….they are rarely if ever reaching in their own pocket to fund these teams especially on the lower 50% of net worthed owners. For every dollar the players are losing the owners are losing 3-4
English

@EliteCollectSI @YankeesNerds people are always gonna buy yankee gear. They have other investments that will allow them to tread water. theyre billionaires, apparently you dont know jack about wealth management. The players need the league much more than the owners as its the owners paying them.
English

Oh boy, there’s not going to be a 2027 season.
Jesse Rogers@JesseRogersESPN
BREAKING: In its next CBA, the league is proposing a max contract length of 5 yrs for free agent players switching teams, 6 years to retain their own players. No deferred contracts. Qualifying offer is gone too. Also, 5 years to free agency for players 30 or older.
English

@AAll1776 @YankeesNerds Every owner isn’t even a billionaire, most of their wealth is directly tied into ownership in many cases. I can assure you the Hal Steinbrenner cannot afford for the Yankees not to play for more than one season nor can about 14 other owners.
English

@EliteCollectSI @YankeesNerds no they dont. The owners will be billionaires no matter what, they all have other avenues by which they make money.
English

@AAll1776 @YankeesNerds The owners stand to lose significantly more than the the players do, don’t forget that
English

@EliteCollectSI @YankeesNerds so the league continues to exist lmfao, the owners are under no obligation have a season or 2 or 3, the players however thats how they fees their families.
English

@camjet76 @NEOCards_Comics @WatchTheBreaks Miz and cam literally might both win cy young lol…u r insane
English

@NEOCards_Comics @WatchTheBreaks Except none of the 2026 rookies are better than Kurtz, Drake Baldwin or Jacob Wilson so far.. just more hyped up.
English

@JacobBSpeaks Pen is most important, high level relief will be more of a factor than any other single position with the players available excluding skubal (who we likely won’t get anyway)
English

@LeekNabers No one, but we’ll lose 2-0 bc they’ll pull these guys in the 7th latest and a reliever will hang a slider + no one will hit the ball
English

Skubal
Schlittler
Cole
Fried
Rodon
LMFAO who is stopping that rotation in October
I’ll answer the question
NOBODY
Fireside Yankees@FiresideYankees
The Yankees are expected to be in the bidding for Tarik Skubal at this year's trade deadline, according to Ken Rosenthal. #Yankees
English

@krispursiainen Guy knows his role and is incredibly likable…guaranteed tv role post career for another 20+ years where he can make big $ on the back end. Nothing smarter than a self aware man
English

@Mason_King2 @FungoMLB I did not even realize you’re a giants fan lol. I would not have even engaged….
English

@EliteCollectSI @FungoMLB Sorry if I rub you the wrong way, but your fan base is full of idiots. They’d genuinely sit here and tell you that Chapman is average, he can’t hit, Lombard is better etc…
English

A potential #Yankees swap:
🔹NYY receives Matt Chapman
🔹SF receives Ryan McMahon
SF gets off $100M over the next 4 years. Takes on one last year of McMahon at $17M
Yanks get a quality everyday righty 3B, pacing for his 5th straight year of 109 wRC+ or better.
Thoughts?

English

@Mason_King2 @FungoMLB He’s a good 3b, you don’t need war to watch him play 3b well. He just can’t hit. Chapman is not the player to go after is my point
English

@EliteCollectSI @FungoMLB Ryan McMahon is shit. Negative value player. God use WAR. Stop being a casual. If you want to win a WS you have to take risks. Instead you’re stuck with half a lineup with shit to average level players
English

@Mason_King2 @FungoMLB Mac is a good defensive 3b, and I’d ship him to Alaska for a pack of salami. If there is a lock out we get suck with a 35,36,37,38 year old 3b at 20m a year…it’s a bad move objectively.
English

@EliteCollectSI @FungoMLB Giants will eat a bit of that, but yes I think he’ll out produce a 20 million a year price tag over the next 4 years. You’re underplaying that he’s the best defensive 3rd basemen in the game
English

@Mason_King2 @FungoMLB I’m not arguing with you what he has done, but what he’s most likely to do. Do you actually think he’s going to produce to the level of a 25m a year player in age 34 35 36 and 37?
English

@EliteCollectSI @FungoMLB Crazy. Dude is the best defensive 3rd baseman in the league and is running a 118 ops+ which is about career average for him. He’s been the same guy he’s always been. He also has the most WAR of any 3rd baseman but he’s just average 🤷♂️
English

@Mason_King2 @FungoMLB He’s average to slightly above average making 25m a year for the next 4 years on a contract that ends at age 37 with an incoming salary cap…horrible contract to take on when he doesn’t add nearly the value he will cost to the organization
