#OTD in 1964 Muhammad Ali, at that time known as Cassius Clay, won his first World Heavyweight Championship at the Miami Beach Convention Center, defeating the reigning champion Sonny Liston in six rounds. Cape Coral’s Iwo Jima Memorial is one of only three replicas of the original memorial in Washington, D.C. sculpted by Felix W. de Weldon.
