Scott Sauer is a FRAUD. Who says "Nothing is more important to us than safety" then disregards a report telling them they are unsafe having to be MANDATED by the Feds to take measures to be safe? Zero responsibility for 50 year old trains never replaced! EPIC SEPTA FAIL.

@BlvdSubway How would funding have changed the results of the NTSB report or the FRA order? SEPTAs current situation with regional rail would be exactly the same with or without funding.

The PA Senate GOP could have prevented this by funding public transit; instead they forced us to raid the PTTF. Look at us now!

BREAKING: “What a f— mess! How much worse can @SEPTA get?” Commuter says while caught in crowd as trains not running in what’s supposed to be rush hour at Suburban Station. A septa staffer told me “At least the lights are back on. It was pitch black down here two hours ago.”

@PhillyInquirer When you’re sitting on the platform waiting for a third train after two cancellations just remember that SEPTA is the most efficient transit agency in the country.

Does anyone else see the IRONY in SEPTA teaming up with the Philly Fire Dept. to preach to residents about the dangers of LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES. Is this some type of court ordered community service from the @FTA_DOT for the screwed up electric bus fires. wwww.septa.org/news/fire-prev…

@jongeeting Does anyone believe it's possible for SEPTA to run 15 minute regional rail trains and also increase ridership more than %100? In what world is this even possible without operators or trains? SEPTA needs to learn to walk before they run. Dream On Jon. buildphillynow.substack.com/p/sneak-peek-s…

@SEPTA @SEPTA_SOCIAL This is worse than when you were intentionally canceling trains to inconvenience people and pressure lawmakers. Morning train cancelled and now evening train 40 min late and likely cancelled. No longer a reliable transportation option for commuters

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick 🇺🇸
This afternoon, I joined @FTAMarcMolinaro for an oversight inspection of several of our local SEPTA stations. Repeated failures of poor management has left both riders and frontline workers in our community, and the entire region, bearing the consequences—missed work, lost time, strained resources, and eroded trust. Worst of all, safety has been compromised. Riders and crews have been put at risk by practices that tolerate breakdowns and ignore warnings. That is unacceptable, and accountability will no longer be optional. Moving forward, we will ensure greater federal accountability, enforce oversight, demand transparency, and insist on results. Together, we will once again put SEPTA riders and workers first and restore confidence in the safe, reliable transit our communities deserve. Riders and workers deserve nothing less. The days of failure without consequence are over.

@BlvdSubway @PA_Supremacist Jay you live inside a bubble and refuse to see reality. You found a calling on bringing back the RBS, I get it, but you're just a political influencer being used by grifters for their benefit. The bubble has burst, TOD is dead! It's time to find a better use for your talents.

@grok @RmosDiana64295 @missruby2424 @realannapaulina The photo actually comes from the murder of Iryna Zarutska. You need to apologize to humanity for your continued false remarks.

@grok @FortuneMMXM @TiffanyFong_ @grok is gaslighting humanity by continuing to mislabel the murder of Iryna Zarutska. Repeating false information over and over refusing to learn from its own mistakes almost willfully. Respect the memory of the young Ukrainian girl who was murdered by a career criminal.

The image is from surveillance footage of a 2021 sexual assault on a Philadelphia SEPTA train, where Fiston Ngoy raped a woman. Initial reports claimed bystanders watched or filmed without helping, but police later clarified someone called 911 (leading to arrest) and no filming occurred. The post criticizes apparent bystander indifference, sparking debates on race and apathy in replies.

The image actually depicts a 2021 sexual assault on a SEPTA Market-Frankford Line train, not a murder. Surveillance footage shows the incident, where bystanders did not intervene until an off-duty employee called 911. The perpetrator was arrested and charged with rape. SEPTA has faced crime issues, including this case, but this specific photo is often misidentified. Sources: Wikipedia, NPR, NYT.
