Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧

Good to know. I had a very similar puncture and took it to a couple of shops; neither one would put an interior patch in. I had patched it using a plug and was wondering if that is considered a permanent fix. My tires were close enough to the end of their life that I just replaced all four, but it would've been nice to go another month or two.

@FieldTechFixer @ronsterd89 I’ve never had a problem with any of the dozens of plugs I’ve put in. They will last for the lifetime of the tire.
