I see a lot of 'why books are bad now' from BookTubers, but they're always talking about the traditional realm.
There are so many unique indie books that are doing something different. They are taking risks and not playing to profits or a commercial spin.
If you are fed-up/bored of traditional publishing, seek out some indie authors!

For other PVP FPS games, this would be a scripted sequence that you would never actually experience while playing. For Out of Action though, it's just a raw, unedited gameplay clip.

I genuinely don’t hate S8. But I’m going to say this now. I’ve got 5 episodes left and it’s maybe the first time of the entire series where I’m not looking forward to continuing.

Sephiroth's Super Nova is probably the most gratuitous attack ever inked in a game. In it, he obliterates most the planets in the solar system and detonates the Sun. And yes, he can cast it multiple times in the battle.

None of the romance readers I know care one bit about "nuance." They're very open in their desire for very specific wish fulfillment communicated through established tropes, and LLMs can do that in their sleep

Ragebait for our fiction writers? I suspect catching the nuances of romance would be much harder than churning out another sword and sorcery (or is that ragebait on my part?). I have used AI to write speeches, and it turns out an adequate first draft. My rewrites are dramatically better. How popular would adequate but bland romances be? I imagine romance is the worst genre in which one might settle for adequate.

Wanna know how to market your book like a lunatic?
Print your book cover on a few T-Shirts.
Grab your buddies (under the guise of free pizza).
Put newly acquired T-Shirts on said buddies.
Get big posters printed of cover art with QR code.
Tape posters to every Bus-Stop in town.
Mount posters on foam board.
Stand on side of road waving posters at cars as they pass by.
Go to crowded places and wave posters at people.
Realize that this is modestly expensive, requires knowing local laws, is not introvert friendly, and there's cozy coffee and pizza if you stay home.

@Zepp1978 I'm a huge critic of adaptations and I still think this looks great (besides the Snape casting lol), but this kid was in a Lord of the Flies remake recently and he basically played Draco in that movie and absolutely killed it. Sold me on him as Draco for sure.
