@wizardglick That actually sounds alright. I mean we've seen stuffed bun gimmicks before, and that's not too far off the concept.

@CreatureAuthor I was at a place that had a sign "no leathers." Don't know what that meant. I ordered a "grilled cheese cheeseburger" which was actually a burger where the buns were two grilled cheeses sandwiches.

That's a whole new take on meaty n cheesy!

This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about that CANNOT HAPPEN. These companies need to reckon with the fact that people should have real, generational ownership over their digital items, or governments need to step in and ensure they get the picture. No more of this nonsense.

@KWBussard_ Honestly, it's all carbs. Carbs galore! And messy too. Someone mentioned it in the op comments, but their half pounder is a hassle to eat via drive thru, you gotta dine in for that monster. This is definitely one of those sandwiches that's not drive thru friendly. Lol

The funny bit is how the fight sticks they advertised as the very first post after that bomb announcement is now facing delays. Oh how I could joke on the timing and planning of picking fights. But the sad fact is this is more communication than we're getting on more important issues.

If my voice mattered, you’d overturn the fuckery you pulled with physical games. You took away the one sacred thing that made console gaming special: actual ownership. You didn’t evolve the industry—you gutted one of the biggest reasons people loved consoles in the first place.

If I treated my author brand the way PlayStation treats gamers, I'd be making people pay to access side character arcs in my books, or swappable descriptors to make a character in the book customized, then make people pay for the final chapter via dlc. Want the villain's 2 chapter backstory? That'll be another dlc. Want the MC in a raincoat, clown costume, or spartan armor? Micro transactions baby! There will be ads blocking the whole page every page without paying to remove them. And I'd expect all of you to just get it because you're mindless sheep who buy and maybe consume? Yeah... Right...

Download the offline installer of any of your games on GOG, save it to a disc and it's yours forever. You don't need a storefront's permission to play what you bought.

You know what would be awesome? You cancelling your PlayStation Plus to stick it to the greedy corpo and spend that money on better things, like my books! Sorry, not sorry - had to, it's an indie author being on social media thing. But the overall point that physical media still carrying relevance is much stronger in the literary world as print copies (Paperback/Hardcover) actually do outsell eBooks. And at the same time, it's worth noting that eBook markets including Kobo, Nook, and Amazon share many of the same digital ownership problems that make what PlayStation is doing so diabolical. And this long-term whittling away of ownership in all creative experiences is a problem.
