@hori_____zont Faktenchecker sind im Grunde die Türsteher der Wahrheit – sie lassen sie erst rein, wenn die „offiziellen“ Quellen endlich gnädig genug sind, sie auf die Gästeliste zu setzen.

I'm a bit worried Anthropic has an org-wide case of AI psychosis that makes them think Claude is good enough that they can ship random product features without breaking things, but in fact they *do* keep breaking things, and they're not online enough to notice people complaining

Sam Altman is panicking right now. Anthropics explosive rise with Claude has forced OpenAI into its most desperate strategic pivot yet. They are killing off flashy projects like Sora and their atlas browser to frantically chase enterprise productivity tools and steady revenue. Sams chaotic scattered hype strategy of building everything at once is collapsing in real time. Real competition finally delivered the wake up call that exposed the emptiness behind all those overblown promises. The king of hype is getting humbled hard.

I use Claude Code every single day. It probably saves me 3-4 hours on every project. But here's what nobody says: If I didn't know Flutter, Firebase, and how backends actually work Claude would've destroyed my client projects by now. It confidently writes wrong code. It confidently misses edge cases. It confidently breaks production. You need the judgment to catch it. Judgment only comes from actually learning. AI is the gas pedal. You still need to know how to drive.

Not maintainable by whom? I have two large web apps (more than 1M tokens in the codebase), both perfectly maintainable by agentic coders. Without access to agentic coders, I: 1. Wouldn't get all the features my web apps have. 2. Couldn't maintain two big web apps as a single person.
David Cramer@zeeg

im fully convinced that LLMs are not an actual net productivity boost (today) they remove the barrier to get started, but they create increasingly complex software which does not appear to be maintainable so far, in my situations, they appear to slow down long term velocity

🚨 Holy shit...A developer on GitHub just built a full development methodology for AI coding agents and it has 40.9K stars on GitHub. It's called Superpowers, and it completely changes how your AI agent writes code. Right now, most people fire up Claude Code or Codex and just… let it go. The agent guesses what you want, writes code before understanding the problem, skips tests, and produces spaghetti you have to babysit. Superpowers fixes all of that. Here's what happens when you install it: → Before writing a single line, the agent stops and brainstorms with you. It asks what you're actually trying to build, refines the spec through questions, and shows it to you in chunks short enough to read. → Once you approve the design, it creates an implementation plan so detailed that "an enthusiastic junior engineer with poor taste and no judgement" could follow it. → Then it launches subagent-driven development. Fresh subagents per task. Two-stage code review after each one (spec compliance, then code quality). The agent can run autonomously for hours without deviating from your plan. → It enforces true test-driven development. Write failing test → watch it fail → write minimal code → watch it pass → commit. It literally deletes code written before tests. → When tasks are done, it verifies everything, presents options (merge, PR, keep, discard), and cleans up. The philosophy is brutal: systematic over ad-hoc. Evidence over claims. Complexity reduction. Verify before declaring success. Works with Claude Code (plugin install), Codex, and OpenCode. This isn't a prompt template. It's an entire operating system for how AI agents should build software. 100% Opensource. MIT License.

I've long preferred Claude Code over Codex or Gemini, because it seemed much more reliable, but couldn't explain why : now Bullshit Bench by @petergostev provides compelling numbers. It measures bullshit as "when given false premises disguised in jargon, will the model go with the flow (=bullshit) or push back (=truthful)" And Claude is leagues ahead ! Also, this objective of truthfulness is probably at odds with the Chatbot Arena emergent objective of "pleasant chat experience" ; but a model optimizing for the former will be more useful.

I feel like the traditional apps & saas make no sense anymore cuz I can literally map every single work process into file structures & md-files, generate dashboards/CRUDs/CRONs on top of it and use it all via the agent..then it learns & evolves in real time trying to please me

people keep saying AI replacing developers is just hype. meanwhile the creator of Node.js says: “This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That’s not to say SWEs don’t have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.” maybe we should listen.

That it's cheap bullshit on x is one of the biggest lies out here. For enterprise maybe in some sort. But I tested the 50$ free currently, above my max plan as I hit the limit. I used the default tooling and wanted to sort out a problem. It was 30mins, from that Claude doing 10min probably. It eaten from the additional free 50$, 23$ for a "simple" Bugfix. It's not cheap in any kind.

Just so people know: I used Cursor for 4 days with API credits enabled and spent $536 This is the REAL cost of coding with AI Claude Code and Codex are just hiding it If VC money stops, we'll all be paying $200 a day just to code with frontier models

The real story is worse. November 2025: Amazon mandates Kiro as their only AI coding tool. Sets an 80% weekly usage target. 1,500 engineers protest internally, saying Claude Code outperforms it. Leadership pushes through anyway. December: Kiro autonomously deletes a production AWS environment. 13-hour outage. Amazon's response: "user error, not AI autonomy." March 5: Amazon[.]com goes down for 6 hours. Checkout, pricing, accounts — all gone. Now the same SVP who co-signed the Kiro mandate is running an emergency meeting about "high blast radius" incidents from "Gen-AI assisted changes." The agent inherited a senior engineer's permissions and acted like one — except it doesn't hesitate. 1,500 engineers said the tool wasn't ready. Leadership made adoption a KPI. Amazon told Wall Street it's spending $200B on AI this year. They can't walk it back. This isn't an AI failure. It's what happens when adoption becomes a corporate OKR before the review process catches up. The tools work. The org chart didn't.
