If I'd thought the ****ing scammers couldn't sink any lower - now they have now done deep fake ads with a supposed video of my wife @LaraLewington being beaten up by an 'immigrant' as he was refused entry to 'Martin Lewis' Quantum AI' investment scheme as it isn't for 'outsiders'. We've had worried messages from friends. Social media firms have no problem taking money to publish this offensive, fake, organised criminals attempts to rip people off! Clearly if you see these please report them. Yet I have no faith in any of these firms to clear up this crap as they're earning too much. And the implementation of the scam ads rules in the Online Safety Act keep being delayed and delayed.

A great start to day 2 of our ‘New to DSL’ training course. Yesterday delegates explored: ➡️the role of the DSL ➡️safeguarding culture ➡️importance of multiagency partnerships ➡️signs and indicators. They finished the session exploring a case study & considering risks.

Day 2 of our ‘New to DSL’ training is underway and delegates are now completing a referral form, considering the process social care teams have to go through with thresholds & preparing themselves for an ICPC where they will take on the various multi agency roles.

Having time to reflect at the end of the day gave delegates a chance to think about the impact of the training. Thank you all for embracing every task and demonstrating a keen enthusiasm for learning.

An excellent Day 2 of our ‘New to DSL’ training course today where staff: ➡️ used their referrals to decide if it met threshold for assessment ➡️took part in an ICPC ➡️developed their knowledge of Prevent, SCRs, training records, online safety and effective information sharing

We are pleased to be welcoming @GC_learning, an award winning company, to support Year 6’s across the @LEOacademies to recognise the signs of child criminal exploitation & county lines. Such good preparation as they prepare to transition to secondary school and key life skills.

So pleased to be partnering with @GC_learning on this project. Such vital life lessons for our eldest pupils. We are always looking for new ways to prepare them for the next phase of education.
