@Psyk1cJake @Rightanglenews Schools in many of those areas provide food now, breakfast and lunch with some offering dinner open to families. Chicago is on the higher end of spending and basically zero students perform at grade level. They provide free breakfast and lunch.

This would be expected if that population lived in area with a poor education system and low income. People who can only afford nutrient deficient processed foods, poor parental involvement and attending schools with shoe string budgets will predictably have lower IQ scores as well as lower test scores in general.

IQ does not measure intelligence capability, it estimates current intelligence. You can increase your intelligence with education/training up to a maximum level which is fixed/genetic. Diet also plays a role in brain health/capability. These scores reflect an environment of poor nutrition and poor education/training, and the same low scores can be found in any poor country regardless of race. Your intelligence is not fixed or race based, it's moveable with improved diet/environment/training. Genetics only define the maximum ceiling and varies greatly from person to person. Very few people ever get close to their maximum intelligence capability.

This is the same thing that led to all the fast food workers being fired with the minimum increase put through before(except at Panera who was exempt because the owner donates to Newsom).
