@Arianespace A strong milestone for Ariane 6, and a useful reminder that launch capability depends not only on the rocket, but on disciplined execution across the ground campaign.

Mission VA268: Ariane 6 has reached the launch pad. At Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, the central core of Ariane 6 for mission VA268 has been transferred from the Launcher Integration Building (BAL) to the launch pad. Once in front of the mobile gantry, the stage was raised to a vertical position, a key milestone in the launcher assembly process. This operation initiates the final assembly phase on the pad, where Ariane 64, the most powerful version of Ariane 6, will progressively come together. Scheduled for April 28, 2026, mission VA268 will place 32 @Amazonleo satellites into low Earth orbit, demonstrating once again Ariane 6’s capability to support large-scale constellation deployments. The campaign is underway. #LaunchingAmbitions @Amazonleo @ArianeGroup @esa @CNES @EuropeSpacePort

The Artemis II crew have officially traveled farther into space than any humans ever before, passing the record set during Apollo. Their lunar journey is perfectly powered by our European Service Module. Congratulations to Reid, Victor, Christine, and Jeremy!

What do tropical islands, prison history, jungle scenery, and rocket tracking have in common? More than you might expect. Near Kourou, one tiny Atlantic archipelago brings them all together. Read more here: blog.iterative.engineering/2026/04/02/cne… Photo: Paweł Grzywocz

Europe isn’t just watching Artemis II – it’s helping send Orion to the Moon. ESA’s European Service Module, built by Airbus, performs the key trans-lunar injection burn and provides propulsion, power, water and air for the crew. Credit: Airbus Defence and Space #ArtemisII #ESA

@NASAArtemis @NASAJPL A powerful moment - behind the headline, it is also a reminder of how much precise systems engineering and deep-space communications work are needed to make human exploration possible.

Signal acquired! 📡 Engineers at @NASAJPL have confirmed that the Orion spacecraft is communicating with the Deep Space Network. For the first time in over 50 years, we’re receiving a signal from a spacecraft carrying humans toward the Moon.

@AschbacherJosef A good reminder that missions like this are not only about the crew and the launch, but also about the engineering behind every safe kilometre of the journey. The European Service Module is a great example of how much complex, high-reliability work sits behind human spaceflight.

For the first time in more than half a century, humanity is reaching beyond Earth once again – not just to return to the Moon, but to redefine what is possible together. NASA, with its partners, has acheived something extraordinary. But this time, the journey to the Moon is not being undertaken by one nation alone. The Artemis mission is a truly international endeavour, and Europe stands proud at its very core. ESA did not simply enable this mission, ESA powered it. At the heart of the Orion spacecraft, the European Service Model is delivering the life support, propulsion, water and thermal control required to protect the crew through the extremes of deep space and bring them safely around the Moon and back home. Built on the legacy of ESA’s Automated Transfer Vehicle and powered by engines with Space Shuttle heritage, the ESM embodies European excellence. It represents the coordinated effort of 13 ESA Member States and the United States, bringing together 20 main contractors and more than 100 European suppliers under ESA project management. That reliability had already been proven during the 2.2‑million‑kilometre journey of Artemis I in November 2022, when the European Service Module performed flawlessly, exceeding expectations and delivering more power than anticipated. When Europe commits, Europe delivers. Human spaceflight has always been about more than technology. It is a collective achievement. It is greatness. Artemis II demonstrated what international partnership at its best can deliver: a balanced and trusted cooperation, built on shared ambition and complementary strengths. As we look ahead, ESA remains a strong, reliable and essential international partner, prepared and ready to continue playing a decisive role in shaping the future of human exploration. We will remain fully engaged with NASA, grounded on decades of cooperation and a shared commitment to exploration. To Reid, Victor, Christina and Jeremy, we wish you an exciting journey, a successful mission, and a safe return. #msdynmkt_trackingcontext=52b054c3-902c-44e9-afb7-be0c47e40100" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">esa.int/Science_Explor…

In the oil & gas industry, performance is best assessed at three levels: field, portfolio, and company. A strong asset can still weaken a portfolio, and a strong portfolio may still fail to create value. The picture appears only when all 3 align. #OilAndGas Credit: Pexels

Hedging in oil & gas is not just downside protection. It is a strategy. The best programs rely on target ratios, price triggers, and governance rules, not panic. In a cyclical market, discipline can become opportunity. Credit: Anthony Maw / Unsplash #OilAndGas
