Not a crew insight. Not even a scheduled crew to be appointed. But I see crews sitting around gas stations and parking lots in my area… 3rd party though. Not @ComEd

I see what’s going on. Third party companies out here collecting billable hours while sitting in their trucks 95th and Oak Park Ave - Chicago Ridge Whole row of trucks with workers just sitting in their phones. They had to just got out here and already on break @ComEd 👍🏻

Looking at the @ComEd outage map, it looks like someone needs to remind ComEd that south of I-55 exists. It's been three days without power. Seemingly the only person working is the one who keeps pushing back the estimated time of restoration.

@ComEd pulled a fast one. Responded to my DM, updated my status, now after a little bit of me not blowing them up, they changed it back . Sneaky sneaky comed.. Not cool when someone has a child and medical equipment they need running.

@ComEd Not a single crew in Chicago Ridge as of 0930 AM 6/12. Note they’ve been giving out random answers and only in the nice suburbs. Was up north last night 95% of the towns had power I went through

@ComEd Same automated message I got yesterday. Except the difference is now medication has gone bad and I have a child in the house along with a cancer patient that needs their oxygen machine.

Thank you for reaching out. There are several reasons why a ComEd truck or crew isn't actively working on equipment during an outage. Crews could be staged and ready to work once repairs in another area are complete. Additionally, they may need to wait for tree trimming crews or other support staff to arrive or finish their work. What I find even crazier is that @ComEd is still going to want that payment on your due date, no if ands or butts. Not even a free month or discount being offered. No accountability

Right now, more than 100 crews are working around the clock to safely and efficiently restore service after this unique storm brought widespread damage and challenging conditions across our service area, including downed power lines, broken poles, and fallen trees and large limbs impacting equipment. Based on storms of similar size, we expect about 80% of outages to be restored by Saturday, June 13 at 11 PM. @ComEd I have a live downed power line sparking in my yard. We have been told Saturday for repair. This is a hazard as the live line is on a chain link fence.
