After weeks of hands-on training, young adults put their skills to work for local families. Participants in ComEd's Tools of the Trade program built 55 beds for children and families in need during our annual Bed Build events in Chicago and Rockford. Working alongside #ComEdVolunteers, St. Joseph's Bed Ministry, and Squared Away Construction, these students applied skills learned through the seven-week pre-apprenticeship program while giving back to their communities.

@ComEd Called customer support 3 times in 3 weeks. I not seen any response. No feedback.. Nothing., and my power went down again yesterday. So this might as well be automated because it's worthless.

@ComEd @ILGOP Once again my power went down. No particular reason. No storms. Just your shitty aging infrastructure anf no MAINTENANCE. I am looking at transformer on the neighbors lot. It's totally rusted out. The pole it sits on has at least a 10 degree tilt starting right at the transformer. The only thing holding it up is wires because the pole is compromised. The pole next door has voids you can see thu.. Yeah a see thru pole.. Nice... The entire set of lines thru the neighborhood behind my house is grown over with trees. It's been patched up so many times all the bandaids probably make up the majority. Why not just replace the entire run.. Nope..you are content with taking our money and just letting everything rot.

@ComEd Yeah.. Typical automated reply. I've already been on w customer service. 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Outage tracker is nothing but AI gaslighting and lies on updated times and service. Nothing much you can say that won't be a lie.

I get that storms happen and that can knock down power lines but it’s really unnerving that the mere threat of a storm can cause @ComEd to lose power here in West Beverly. Maybe @mattoshea19 could do something about this? We lose power all the time!

Hello, thanks for following up with us. Although you may not identify changes in usage. Things like additional showers, hotter days and anything that impacts energy usage could increase your energy usage. @ComEd I can see my usage but how does it go up when nothing changes on daily usage? Im not doing anything different.

I think @ComEd is ripping us off. We cant detect how much electricity we use. Some how im using more energy when we stopped running our ac, dishwasher, washer and dryer. How is it higher? @Jim_Jordan im not in your state but maybe you can look into usage.

@ComEd @Jim_Jordan Maybe these electric company's should supply homeowners with a device that tells us how much we are using at anytime. Why should it be like a hospital and get billed after not knowing how much is being used.

@ComEd I’ve called MULTIPLE times about this COMED pole in the ally. It’s frustrating because it makes it difficult to go in & out of my garage & my mom broke the front part of her car bc of it. To top it all off, someone took a shit on it. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET IT MOVED?!

@wildengine00 ComEd passes though hourly prices based on the current market price, determined by real-time conditions. During extreme weather, prices can fluctuate, but in 2026, hourly prices have exceeded 25 cents/kWh in only ~1% of all hours. So, most participants see long-term savings.

@comed hourly rate customer question: why do the hourly rates dramatically rise to $.25+ (I’ve seen up to a dollar) but never drop that low? Seems statistically slanted.

@ComEd Hello, there. We’re back up and running now. Techs put a jumper to run both rails off of one. We still need to dig up and replace the other leg, but it’s not urgent. Thank you

@ComEd It’s been a week at partial power unable to run our AC. The first crew restored one leg and told us the other leg needed to be dug up and replaced. Since then, nothing… we call every day and get told “soon”, but never get any sense of when. We’re 🥵 & 😡
