Here’s the latest: ⚡ Approximately 384,000 customers restored as of 6 p.m. Thursday ⚡ More than 2,900 personnel working across northern Illinois ⚡ Severe weather including strong winds, lightning and hail ending tonight We are prioritizing repairs that restore the greatest number of customers first, along with critical services like hospitals, police and fire departments, before moving into smaller affected areas. For customers still without power from Wednesday’s storms, restoration is expected by Saturday evening, if not sooner, as long as conditions remain safe for our crews. As additional storms move through, we will assess any new damage and begin restoring those newly impacted as quickly and safely as possible.
