If we’re being honest about the Pels… we got YouTube TV a few months ago so I ended up missing most games after the new year. Didn’t really feel like I missed much. The offseason moves, compounded with the usual injuries and losing, leave me discouraged.

So, as some of you may know I have covered the Pels religiously for about 8 years before moving to Japan.
However, when I check Sns and post I get flashbacks. It seems like names change but the vibe as a fan is the same.
I want to ask, how do you feel as a pels fan in 2026?

Long time no see.
I've been away from the Pels and the NBA in general for the better part of 6+ years, watching the NBA in Japan is tough (until the recent Prime deal, that helps a lot).

I love that Jeremiah Fears dropped 40 points. Additionally, Utah allowing Jordan Hawkins to score 25 points in the year 2026 should mean they are required to return the Jazz name back to New Orleans.

Extremely lukewarm take here but the NCAA championship probably shouldn’t be buried late on a Monday. I almost completely forgot about it.

I’m still not over them getting rid of dim mode, forcing me to use either full dark or light mode, which both hurt my eyes.
Obviously also still mad about them destroying the app as we knew it and driving off all my friends. But like… dim mode!!!

It’s really funny how there was no reason for any of this. The X team simply takes out completely usable, extremely useful, years-old features because….????? They don’t even cynically paywall them or anything, it’s gone for everyone now.

@ggidds2 @adaniels33 @JoelMeyersNBA Great stuff. Having talked to Joel a few times, he’s the absolute best. And AD might be the best color commentator in the NBA right now. They’re one of the few consistently great things about the team.
I also grew up watching Stan and Neil on SportsCenter. Good parallel there.

I can’t believe there were so many weeks of posturing about Miami Ohio and whether or not they deserved to be in the NCAA tournament. They had an undefeated regular season!
Glad they made the tournament because their First Four game has been incredibly fun to watch.
