⚠️ Those claiming this @indSupremeCourt order on dogs and other animals is "balanced" are misleading the public. A genuinely balanced framework would have given equal weight to animal welfare, prevention of Animal cruelty, scientific population management, public safety and coexistence. Instead, many fear that vague provisions and loopholes can be exploited to justify the removal, abandonment, starvation, confinement, and suffering of community animals. Balance cannot mean protecting human convenience while disregarding the lives and welfare of sentient beings. A truly balanced approach would include safeguards against cruelty, accountability for abuse, mandatory sterilization and vaccination programs, responsible waste management, and enforcement of existing animal welfare laws. Community dogs are not disposable. They are living beings protected by law and an integral part of the urban ecosystem. Any interpretation that enables their suffering, displacement, or death cannot be called balanced.
