@Stanimal032 @TheProblem @AppleTVPlus I’m ok with firearm safety training in school. But you shouldn’t need a license to protect your life and liberty.

State Sen. Nathan Dahm (R-OK) has penned several bills loosening gun restrictions, including the nation’s first anti-red flag law. He thinks these bills protect the Second Amendment – and that they make us safer. We think it's probably one or the other. Watch it on @AppleTVPlus.

I’m often asked why so many families & companies move from California to Tennessee.
People want to live in a low-tax state that supports families & believes freedom & opportunity belong to everybody—not just the elite.
If you like rankings, we recommend the Uhaul Growth Index.

Gavin Newsom@GavinNewsom
Tennessee has the 8th highest murder rate in the nation. It ranks 44th among states for health outcomes. And this is what the Governor is focused on.

@DruzeSaher @zac_smith1 @nytimes True. Lee and his policies continue to endanger children in the state of TN.

Tennessee became the first U.S. state to sharply restrict drag shows by banning them on public property or in places where minors could watch them. The law takes effect later this year. nyti.ms/3SNisfl

@GovBillLee @TCATCrump “Skill up”? TN ignores the educational needs of its citizens worse than ever before. You just keep driving TN further into the ground.
English

We’re proposing a record $1 Billion investment in TN’s technical colleges to give more Tennesseans the opportunity to skill up for a great career. Thanks, @TCATCrump, for delivering tomorrow’s workforce to ensure we’re the top state for families & businesses to succeed.

@FOXNashville @Kymon5 They’re fine with straight men in drag; that’s funny or “art”. But when a queer person is in drag, it’s subversive, sexual, and harmful. F@cking hypocrites.

WATCH: In the midst of the felony drag bill passing in the state, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee is asked if he "remembers dressing in drag in 1977." This was his response. bit.ly/3EI9OZK

@krassenstein So here's a suggestion.
Why don't you parents who are bemoaning the lack of porn and CRT in schools purchase the books that have been banned and read them with your children?
Much more effective at teaching the Truth than letting some teacher do it.

BREAKING: This video was posted of empty book shelves by a Florida teacher.
The teacher has just been fired. His termination came less than 24 hrs after @RonDeSantisFL was asked about this video.
Thanks @JuddLegum for noticing!
Don't you dare RESHARE it!

@lee_hedgepeth This is horrific. But you must understand that posturing has more than one meaning True, he may have meant “behavior intended to mislead”. But you have to include they he also may have meant “involuntary positioning due to brain injury”.

Alabama's Attorney General watched video of Anthony Mitchell's limp body being placed into a Walker County police vehicle for the first time today. "It's almost like he's posturing a little bit," the AG said while watching. Read Mitchell's story here: bit.ly/3k8fjtC

@FullyvaxxedEsq @lee_hedgepeth That a guy was posturing when he was not moving?
His body temp was 72 degrees. That's not posturing that's dying

@KusajiDev @DIDhatchery @robert_KE @TizzyEnt What school district is offering this on their school libraries?
English

@DIDhatchery @robert_KE @TizzyEnt Ok I'll bite..
Why is a book titled "This Book is Gay" being offered in school libraries, aimed at people aged 14 - 17, providing instructions to minors on how to download and use apps aimed at sex / hooking up?

@robert_KE @TizzyEnt “Clearly inappropriate reading material” like what? “Many teachers have abused their position” how exactly?
English

It's the whole point of Bill Lee's "voucher program," depopulating and defunding public schools.
Tennessee Lookout || tnlookout.bsky.social@TNLookout
Tennessee public schools have lost more than 14,000 students since the start of the pandemic — with most switching to private schools, a new reported from @urbaninstitute has found. From @anitawadhwani. tennesseelookout.com/briefs/report-…
Memphis, TN 🇺🇸 English

@toddstarnes So much to unpack here. But let’s start with the easy ones; One of the malls you mentioned closed due to a tornado strike and reopened two years later. Over 2200 shopping malls have closed nationwide. Those all crime-ridden too?
English

Sad to say but #Memphis is a war zone. It's been controlled by progressive Democrats for generations. Today, there was a shooting at Wolfchase Galleria -- one of the few malls left standing in the city. The others -- Hickory Ridge Mall, Mall of Memphis were forced to close due to crime.
