@ClassicSpyChic It didn’t flop the landing. People just lack media literacy, and convinced themselves they’d get a different ending than the one they made so obvious, that it could only be more obvious if they flashed “TED ENDS UP WITH ROBIN, AND THE MOTHER IS DEAD” on screen every episode.

Whereas Disney had him front in center in ALL of the promotion, and talked up how he developed it for a decade. And positioned him as lead when he wasnt.
