TRUMP JUST TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS ON 11 MILLION PEOPLE Cuba has had zero oil shipments since January. No oil means no power. No power means hospitals go dark. Hospitals going dark means people die. The UN calls this a war crime. Trump calls it "making a deal." TRUMP JUST TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS ON 11 MILLION PEOPLE Cuba has had zero oil shipments since January. No oil means no power. No power means hospitals go dark. Hospitals going dark means people die. The UN calls this a war crime. Trump calls it "making a deal." This is the first blockade of Cuba since the Cuban Missile Crisis. And he said "I can do anything I want." That's not foreign policy. That's a siege.

@reddit_lies Then what is it? They literally gathered a bunch of people they named capitalists and them talk about how nuclear death would make them profit.

@reddit_lies IDGAF what the writers say, the entire premise is the corporations selling bomb shelters thought nuclear war would be good for business so they made sure nuclear war happened. How is that not a critique of capitalism?

@reddit_lies It’s a clear critique of capitalism regardless of what anyone says. The art speaks for itself.

The United Kingdom has demanded that 4chan pay a £520,000 fine for failure to comply with UK age verification laws. However, since 4chan is based in the USA, the UK has no jurisdiction to fine Americans in America. “As has been explained to your agency, ad nauseam, the United Kingdom lost the American Revolutionary War. We are not in the mood to discuss the matter further, and have not been in the mood for 250 years.” The letter to the UK’s Ofcom ended by suggesting that “maybe, you could just stop sending Americans stupid letters and acknowledge the sovereignty of the United States.” 4chan’s attorney, @prestonjbyrne also included a picture of a giant hamster dressed as Godzilla.

@LundukeJournal It’s madness to me that a company is more likely to boast about first amendment rights than seeing the harm the internet can do to minors internationally. Priorities back to front me thinks.

@CollinRugg People forget these officers were doing their job based on a tip. No charges doesn't mean the raid was illegal. Afroman profited off their images without consent, that's not free speech, that's exploitation."

NEW: Afroman's music video "Lemon Pound Cake" played in court as "Officer Poundcake" was forced to sit and watch. Adams County Sheriff's deputies are suing Afroman after he released a music video following a botched raid on his home. At one point during the trial, the video was played during Officer Shawn Cooley's testimony. The song was inspired after the officer allegedly glanced down at Afroman's desert during the botched raid on his home. Officers claim that Afroman's songs and social media posts following the raid caused them "mental distress and danger." (ABC6)
