@NickCho I don’t think it’s fair to say they are prioritizing safety and health, they are really just doing nothing and waiting (or not transparent with what they are doing). The only priority SFUSD should be focused on is opening schools safely for the kids and staff.

@joepohlen Could it be, because they don’t have the “resident care” stress? They are not directly responsible for resident care.

I’m really not sure why. We don’t pay any better than market and don’t do anything special for that department. This is true across all of our buildings.

The turn over in our nursing and dietary department is extremely high, especially in the first 90 days. The most stable department? Housekeeping. Most of our housekeeping team has been there over 10 years. 6 of them over 25 yrs!
