@GamewithDave Ultimate Domain and a game I’ve been trying to locate for years…I can’t remember the name, but you started with a colonial style ship and had to choose where it would make landfall to start your colony. Please help. 😂

That’s not accurate…farmer here who actually raises their own protein; cows, chickens, pigs. Weight depends more on breed than it does what they eat, unless overfed with grains. Big cows like Brahmas have more meat than small cows like white park, or Senepol. $6.40 a pound for a cow you didn’t raise is beyond an excellent deal. From birth to freezer camp I have a little over $6 a pound in mine. On average, in our neck of the woods, we would sell a butchered cow for about $20 a pound. We are in North Florida, fyi

So, my grass fed half cow ended up being 250 pounds of meat for around $6.40 a pound. What do you think?

Because of the police action in St Johns Co last night, the gates at @THEPLAYERS aren't opening today until 9 and the concession stands will now open at 11. Great work by StJCo Sheriff's dept and PGA Tour security all last night apprehending the double murder suspect this morning.

Got time for a story? In the summer of 2019 our pastor felt God telling him to direct our church to start ministries focused on the felt needs of our community. He spoke about it at our annual Thanksgiving Dinner service. Immediately we had someone come up and say they felt strongly we needed a food distribution ministry so local families had access to good food. We assumed this was God confirming what we thought He was telling us. In January of 2020 we told our church the ministry was going to officially launch in March…of 2020…we had almost no resources. Had no idea how to get food. And we didn’t have a facility for the distribution other than our gym and a white tent. We had one requirement of everyone in our food line, we get to share the Gospel. Our first distribution was the first Thursday in March. We distributed to about 50 families enough groceries for about two weeks, which is when our next distribution was scheduled. Then the “shutdown” started. As a staff we had no idea what to do. We honored the request to shutdown Sunday services but refused to stop the food distribution. Something (the Holy Spirit) told us we were going to need more food than we had in our first distribution. We called every grocery store, every NGO that dealt with this type of thing, and started collecting as much food as possible. Filling our gymnasium floor with pallets since we weren’t going to be able to host services and bible studies. The next distribution we served over 500 families…and at the time we were a church of about 500 total attendees. We were excited but overwhelmed because the funds we set aside for this ministry in 2019 were no longer adequate. We just started spending whatever it took to help the families in our community over the next several months. We purchased a refrigerated truck so that we could offer much larger protein offerings. By the end of May we were overwhelmed with the amount of food we were distributing and the dwindling finances to support the ministry. But because God confirmed this was the direction He wanted us to go we kept saying “God, this is your problem and the money we need is nothing compared to your riches.” Then the miracle came…our local municipalities began reaching out to us and offering funding. We never asked for a dime. These local leaders not only gave us more than enough funds to continue but also repaid every dime we had spent up to that point. And weeks after week hundreds of families received enough groceries to sustain them until the next feeding. The same things you and I would buy at the store. We were able to add fresh produce. Breads. Canned goods. And treats and sweats because God made all of it for us to enjoy. 5 years later what began as a parking lot distribution is now done from its own facility with a huge team of weekly volunteers. This led us to start an upscale clothing boutique that only sells new or like new clothing. Name brands like Lucky, Polo, Adidas etc. Much higher grade than what can be found at most goodwill stores. And every item is prices between $1-$3. We’ve sold dresses worth hundreds of dollars for just a few bucks. And anyone in our community that is in need and can’t afford even $1 gets what they need for free. This is especially important during back to school shopping. Then we take all of the cash from the sales and donate it to our local schools. Last year we donated $40,000 to our small town schools. We started Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered addiction program that meets weekly in our church. Then the Foster and Adoption ministry….and on and on… John, you are correct. God calls us to meet the needs of others REGARDLESS if they believe. And it has radically changed our Church for the good. We now run 8-900 every week…and our people continue to support our community in ways we never thought possible. God honors obedience to His Word. And God loves everyone so much he died for them.

@KelliWalk1 @megbasham @TimTebow I’m proposing we don’t need more laws. All we need is a focused effort from every form of law enforcement and government, local to federal, to catch and punish to the maximum the law allows. No one gets a pass for any reason. No leniency. In Florida that means the death penalty.

Again, this is why I addressed the @TimTebow statement yesterday. Because of posts like this from a prominent Christian professor and author that are patently FALSE! White men are NOT the biggest abusers of children.

@PastorMikeStone What many in SBC leadership fail to realize is that the real battle was lost years ago when they took a stand against Saddleback but did nothing to the SBC churches who knowingly covered up sexual abuse.

@MatticusMarks @jamiedupree @AliceOllstein There’s a much cheaper way for the government to stop cancer…ban every item of food that is sold in the middle of grocery stores, ban all produce not harvested in the U.S. and ban high-fructose corn syrup. You’ve just solved obesity, many cancers, and a lot of corruption.

@jamiedupree @AliceOllstein 57% cut to the always bipartisan Congressionally-Directed Medical Research Programs, which last year was responsible for over *$517 million* in cancer research. Completely unacceptable and will only harm patients.

Dismantle it all…if it weren’t for this we were headed for a much worse ending for all. Spare me the tears. When were you going to call out our “leaders” for advocating for AND funding child mutilation? That one act is enough to cancel any good any government had ever done.

@jamiedupree let’s be clear…had to happen this way. You’ve been covering Washington for how long??? Do you actually think they will ever change without someone grabbing their necks and dragging them thru their own muck for them to see what a sham they’ve been operating for the last…checks notes…100 years or so????
