[Nintendo Switch 2 System Update] Version 22.0.0 adds "Handheld Mode Boost". This will make Switch 1 games think that they are in TV mode even when in handheld. Games can run at higher resolutions in TV mode, taking better advantage of the Switch 2's 1080p screen.

This might spell the end of Xbox as a whole in the next decade. Will they release a new console for the next generation? Is GamePass going to be just for PCs if there isn't any more Xbox consoles coming down the line? What is the incentive for new customers to buy an Xbox in the future? What's going to happen to the dozens of game companies that Xbox owns and employs? And above all, are we going to end up getting AI Slop within the entire Xbox ecosystem? The future looks pretty bleak for Xbox fans.
