The Catholic Church practices things the Bible never shows. How can they claim the Church was started by Christ and that Christ is their example if His example isn’t followed? Jesus went down into the water and came up out of it. John didn’t stand there pouring water over His head with a candy bowl or a juice jug. There isn’t a single example in Scripture of sprinkling, pouring, or sitting in a tub. My Word! Call it whatever you want, it doesn’t match the Bible. Pouring water over people's head is not a small divergence. That’s a complete departure.
