@Banner19otw @CoreyB08 Not saying Tatum can't be as good or better scorer than Brown. I'm saying Brown will never be a great distributer but Tatum could be if he adjusted his game just a little. Tatum is the better player for sure, but that doesn't mean him scoring the most is best for the Celtics.

Tatum is my favorite player and I give him props when he deserves it. I point out the hypocrisy of Tatum Stan’s who sit and blame Jaylen but refuse to blame Tatum. It’s pretty simple Tatum Stan’s love to be so loud about Jaylen mistakes so I simply ask them about Tatum mistakes and it’s the same thing “oh Joe didn’t let him get in rhythm, his teammates just miss shots, Jaylen was hogging the ball that’s why Tatum couldn’t get into a rhythm.” I’ve said for the last year Cs are not real contenders without Tatum. But Tatum Stan’s refuse to admit Jaylen has been elite this year and has every right to remain the #1 until Tatum is back to all nba 1st team Tatum

How much does Brown deserve credit and how much do Stevens, Mazzulla, and an amazing system deserve credit? White, Pritchard, Queta, Hauser, Shierman, and Gonzalez have become similar complementary players as those on the other teams you just listed.

@CoreyB08 Exactly. Love what Brown has been able to do for us this year but he's no where near MVP. I would also throw in Cade Cunningham as more deserving.

Jaylen Brown isnt the MVP But to downplay what he was able to do as the #1 is also just as bad as claiming he’s the MVP front runner We can be impressed with what he’s done, realistically talk about how he is in the top 4-5 for MVP race and still not believe he should be MVP over guys like SGA, Luka, Jokic, Wemby

Tony Kornheiser AND Michael Wilbon have Jaylen Brown as their MVP 👀

@PeterAxelson2 @thescottbarber Yes, and this opinion seems to be biased by a personal opinion of the leader in question. This also assumes the religious zealots that rule Iran are rational actors.

@StoolGreenie I never would have thought. Tatum often holds the ball upon receiving the pass. Maybe a better thing to look at would be how long the ball is held before dribbling or passing. I bet Tatum would lead that.

Just heard a take that when Tatum has the ball, he holds it too long and the ball moves quicker when others have it This, is factually incorrect. Tatum averages FEWER seconds per touch AND dribbles per touch than Jaylen/White/Pritchard not only this season, but last season AND the title year etc The idea that when he initiates possessions the ball sticks and he just holds the ball simply is not true

@jaysonyork Teens I'd totally agree. But I'm certainly okay with younger elementary being in children's ministry.

Unpopular pastoral opinion #2 Removing teens and children from the worship gathering or teaching settings for their own groups has been a net negative for the fortification and mission of the church. There are positives, there are negatives. Overall, it’s been an L.

@thescottbarber At least you are making a sincere effort to give me reason why. But that's the problem with the just war theory. Whether or not it's met is so opinion based. i.e. in response to last resort, many would say Iran has had 47 years to disarm so why would they now just because France?

Just Cause in its total failure to prepare, support, and defend the people of Iran; Last Resort by the fact that France and others were preparing talks around disarmament right when the US attacked; Reasonable Chance of Success in the clear lack of planning and the ad hoc nature of the reactionary conduct of the Trump admin, as demonstrated by Trump's claim that no one could have predicted Iran would shut down the strait.

@Samothecat Ever the optimist I had them winning 45 games and I now think they have a legit chance to win it all. After going 5 and 7 they went 41 and 16 and now have Tatum back. Why not?

In a matter of a few months, Celtics fans have gone from "we will win 25 games and have a chance at the first overall pick" to "we are better than last year's 64 win team, even though we lost Luke Kornet, Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday."

@btownley @BillSimmons Sorry. If you can't play in 80% of the games I don't care who you are you shouldn't be eligible. Durability matters.

@BillSimmons It should’ve been 58 from the start, the same number you need to win a statistical title. One of these years someone’s going to play 60 games, win the scoring title, and not make all-nba

If Silver announced today that he’s changing the MVP/All-NBA minimum from 65 to 62 (20 games missed max), would anyone object? Just admit you made the number too high and fix it on the fly. Cade missing out on All-NBA would be outrageous.

@BillSimmons Actually I'm quite fine with players who miss playing in over 20% of the games not being eligible for rewards. Sounds about right. And as a Celtics fan I'd say the same if it was one of our guys. Not outrageous at all. Durability matters.

@TheGregHillShow Disagree. Soccer is the great equalizer athletically speaking. The athletic ability of our best athletes in basketball and football doesn't necessarily translate to soccer.

This just in: old clips of NBA basketball circulating online will look nostalgic and good to people who miss it, while looking slow and archaic to people who enjoy the current brand of basketball.
