Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process. We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Last night over dinner my son decided to teach his little sister how to fight. He’s ducking, rolling, jabbing. At some point she got one in so good she cut her knuckles open on his front teeth which frankly we all found hysterical. They were having fun so I’ll allow it. He’s giving her boxing pointers. Correct fighting stance. I ate my pasta and watched them block my view of the spurs game. Sipped my big girl beverage. Chat it was at this point I felt called to intervene and remind my sweet angel baby daughter of the most important rule for fighting when you’re a 5’2” precious lil thing. If you know me MMIW is an issue in Alaska close to my heart. Babe you have a heart of gentle gold so I must remind you that if you should ever find yourself forced to physically fight a man you never forget that man can KILL YOU likely without a weapon. With his bare hands. You? You’re in an unfair fight. You make it as dirty a fight as possible. You take your thumb and you stick it in that man’s eye socket til you feel brain and then keep going. Everything in you will not want to do this. Mom that’s gross. If a grown man is physically fighting you now this is about your LIFE. If you can’t run and you can’t hide babe you rip that man’s balls clear off his body and I mean removed from the skin of his taint honey. The fight ends when that man can’t kill you anymore. She said mom you’re crazy. I said maybe I am but someday a man in real close proximity to you might try to hurt you and in that moment I need you to remember: thumb, eyeball, brain.
