@BillArnoldTeach There's no external, independent corroborating evidence for who wrote the gospels. Based on dating, (generations later) and the language used (highly educated Greek, not Aramaic) the writers were not eyewitnesses. Therefore, tradition is likely wrong. The gospels are anonymous.
@ImantsRStrautin@darwintojesus You made a suggestion. I responded. You asked a question. I responded. If you don't understand the obvious connection between lack of education, critical thinking skills and belief in the bodily resurrection of a long-dead ancient middle-eastern prophet. I can't help.
@RF_Monaco@darwintojesus What does education and critical thinking have to do with the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ?
You must be an atheist who doesn’t believe in miracles.
@oliverburdick None of those deaths are independently verifiable. People die for lies all the time, especially in the Middle East. Others shrill for lies, like you. But you don’t know that. Neither did they.
They skinned Matthew alive.
They crucified Peter upside down.
Boiled John in hot oil.
Beheaded James with a sword.
Hung Luke from an olive tree.
Stoned Philip to death.
None of the apostles died for a lie.
