Neil The Rabbit
@RabbitNeil
Unwanted bun lucky to get new hoomans who love me more. My favourite thing to do is sit on the sofa/stairs/bed. Named after @jennycolgan's Neil the Puffin.

@RichardIIIGhost Mum wonders if because I can't sit on my haunches to clean my face with high feet at the moment and I then use it to clean round my mouth. Unless the spurs are poking me, but they're little and I can still eat.

@RabbitNeil Hi Neil
Im happy you're doing better.
Just go at your own pace, sweetie 🐰❤️
English

@paddyloaf Ahem! I think you will find the word you're looking for is chonky!
English

@RabbitJosephine I don't know if your hooms have Facebook, but mum just saw this and laughed and said you will be like this 😂 (mum hopes it works!)

@sewingyorkie Well I'm still trying to do everything normal, obviously I'm finding it harder to be as fast, but if I've got fight in me it's always a good thing!
English

@GingerNinjas5 Mum says from what she knows you shouldn't have an issue, they have to pass on the info, but if they're your unwanted items that you haven't bought to sell on, they likely won't be bothered, unless it's a single item sold for £6,000+.
English

@Avarras Yes, mum has picked up a few extra mats/runners, she's trying to break up the lengths between others over the laminate taking into account doors that need to be closed at night, etc.
English

@RabbitNeil When I had Doudou, there was carpets everywhere in the house. Itvwas easier for her to move around on those than wooden floors. And you seems looking for it too, so maybe your hooms could help with that.
English

@HurlWorld @carrotcottagerr Thanks, I'm chilling all other times, legs out and everything, I am being monitored ☺️
English

@RabbitNeil @carrotcottagerr That's pain. Might wanna get checked for bladder stones, too. I can't recommend Sherwood's Urinary Support tablets enough for rabbits and guinea pigs as a preventative for sludge and stones.
English

@RichardIIIGhost Mum says she can get a wooden one from Pets at Home that maybe she could put sides on to protect from over balancing. The tricky issue is, the step is right next to the back door, so whatever we put there had to either fit with the door open or have to keep being moved.
English

@RabbitNeil A little ramp maybe? I remember having to add stones to make some shallow steps down from a little garden wall as bunnies got older. Then showing them only once how to use them and they got it.
English

@RabbitNeil Oh Neil. We hope those leggies firm up again soon.
English

@alisonblair30 Mum looked at ones that were low all round, but then I push my bum to the edge and wee over, I always have done 🤭
English

@RabbitNeil Looking good Neil Fluffy still jumps in and out of the litter tray and from there up to the castle. Got a small flat fronted tray for Apple but she doesn’t use it just 💩 and wee in a corner or inside her igloo. Have a puppy pad inside with a small towel for easy changing
English

@CottontailsBaby Mum has even been and bought a couple of new runners/mats to break up the lengths on laminate between places
English

@RabbitNeil Sounds good Neil! It's all about making everything as easy and comfy as possible for us elder bunnies. Ralph refuses to use his extra downstairs litter trays though.... upstairs only, and also a corner of the rabbit garden. He is fastidious! x
English
