@HSTopRecruiting @Monty4033 Unqualified for the role. Being an alum who played on a title team 30 years ago does not justify the hire. Pretty simple.

What I think is crazy too is Pope had probably his best season ever his first year and then probably his third best last year considering he actually advanced in post season and the fanbase is on edge. When I thought about that it just put into perspective how unqualified the hire was.

Not sure I understand this. Villanova could not have given Lewis more in terms of role and opportunity as a freshman. For kids like this who have legitimate NBA aspirations, fit is everything. Should be valued over short term $. Kinda felt like Nova was/is a great spot for him.
