Cuomo, the NY Post, the Daily News, several conservative radio hosts and billionaires all considered Sliwa a spoiler. The GOP was pushing Cuomo, not Sliwa. Sliwa had no chance and just sucked up votes.

This is a bad answer. It’s a non-answer, it’s an answer based on fear & caution pounded into his head by advisors & consultants. Fuck that. If you’re asked if Israel has committed “genocide,” say yes or no. Period. When I’m asked that question I emphatically say “No.” And most Democrats disagree with me, but they appreciate my honesty. These inauthentic non-answers ain’t gonna cut it anymore.

Democrats are actually good at politics. The advantage republicans hold in our constitutional system (and geography) is not something to be waved away.
