@Capneo1 @zacharoni_07 @progressive Government owned traffic cameras do not record. The myth that they do needs to stop being perpetuated. There is a private company putting up cameras on private property, however they love to publicly blast footage of near fatal crashes online.

@zacharoni_07 @progressive Any witnesses listed in the police report? Many intersections have traffic cameras now. Ask the city ASAP for the footage. Go through your own insurance and ask them to subrogate (they will anyway) meaning they’ll fight it out w/progressive and if they win, progressive…

A lady crashed into my wife (she turned right on red as my wife was going straight through a green light), cops didn’t file a report because they thought damage was <$2500 (it’s not). @progressive (lady’s insurance) is denying our claim because she told them she had a green light

@ChuckN_SJ2 @zacharoni_07 @progressive There’s nothing to complain about. Officer was following state law. Insurance companies requirements don’t matter, but to be clear they require proof the crash was reported, which is different than an actual state crash report.

@zacharoni_07 @progressive File claim thru your ins. They will fight the fight. They will also pay you & get paid back from Progressive. Must have PD report. File complaint on officer. All Ins companies require police reports.

@ReconMarine95 @zacharoni_07 @progressive It’s not policy. It’s state law. State law dictates when officers file crash reports But as you said, crashes in Utah are civil regardless, insurance companies always try and avoid paying.

@zacharoni_07 @progressive I was a police officer for 17 years in South Salt Lake. As far as car accidents, police dont generate reports on accidents with <$2,500 as you stated. That's policy. Police dont determine who's at fault. Insurance does. Police determine if there was a violation of state law.

@Fibby1123 @lindapanzo But the rosters under Greg were almost always full of AA capable athletes, which led to smaller rosters (and that was under far different rules as well when it came to rosters) Lately even athletes who were expected to be AA candidates at Utah seem to be 2-3 event athletes

@lindapanzo The rosters they’ve had the last couple seasons have been their biggest rosters since I’ve started watching. They very rarely had walk-ons.

You've had a team that's made it to nationals 49 straight seasons, they're allowed to have a "down" year. Was it what the team wanted, no, but it's been so much consistency — more than anyone in the history of the sport.

This is a crazy take. She's not on the hot seat. This was the most difficult regional and you had a Minnesota team that came out ready to compete. The Red Rocks had some missteps but that's gymnastics.

When Andy Larsen says crime is down, he really means SLC PD stopped prosecuting drug offenses and the Salt Lake Tribune which he works for stopped covering it. Every single time i go to SLC i see drug addicts, dealers and occasionally someone actively on Fent.

@Is_Harry_ @andyblarsen SLCPD publishes crime data on their website. Go look for yourself. SLC has been very successful in reducing crime, they have some pretty deliberate process to do it too. (And great partnerships)

Mormons have told me that Salt Lake City has degraded so badly that when foreign LDS members come in, the elders and etc try to keep them away from non-Mormon run areas. That's disgraceful. Take your state back. No more of this fake nice stuff.

@JFurKSL A couple things. 1) it appears the suv tipped over, does not appear to have rolled 2) rollovers, with restrained occupants, are actually the safest crash to be in. I always chuckle at how everyone gets spun up about rollovers.
