Yeah, that was disappointing. But I think Stone really wanted to see what Amen & Reed could do at lead ballhandlers. He basically took all the other clubs out of Udoka's bag to accomplish that.

You were CLEARLY going to attempt to use the legal system to shoe-horn eligibility status to a player who bet on his own team - something that no other American athlete with the same infraction had ever been allowed to have in over 100 years.
Was it breaking a rule to be scum bags and use the courts like this? No, it wasn't.
Did it warrant the conference spending resources to step in and prevent the scum baggery for the good of the sport? Apparently Tech wasn't gonna stop it on it's own, so yes.
